Surfing the net on the pages of i and j I came across this article that I copy paste here believing that is of interest to some appassoniato comics. (FG)

In 2010, after the success of Rat-Man in Esperanto (2007) and in Esperanto Diabolik (2009), the ROME project has made the translation of a new comic Italian.

This time it's Lupo Alberto, the wolf world's most popular comic book!

designed over thirty years ago by Guido Silvestri, in art Silver, Alberto is madly in love with from the beginning of the hen Martha, trying to win anyway; proverbial are also his friendship with Henry Mole and his battles against the watchdog Moses.

ROME project, in collaboration with the publisher Edistudio of Pisa, the Italian and Esperanto Youth (for the first time) Esperanto Centre in Turin, Lupo Alberto honored with a register containing the first 144 pages of comic strips and Tales of the farm more fun; editorial pages also have the reader the history of Silver and the various characters of the farm, as well as hosting two unpublished cartoons - one of which is given by the same Silver - Who speak Esperanto.

WORLD CONGRESS IN ESPERANTO ESPERANTO BY ITS RESOLUTION

Professor. Aldo Grassin i was there in Havana as Congressman. These are his impressions:

year Havana was the capital of the world Esperanto. When meeting for those who speak the international language are many around the planet, but the World Congress is the key moment, the event more meaningful and more important. I also want to point out a conference on the languages \u200b\u200bof Mayan origin of Guatemala, performed by an experienced native speaker.

The 95th World Congress of Esperanto,
meeting in Havana (Cuba) with 1002 participants from 59 countries,

Recital
that the United Nations has declared the year 2010 International Year of the approach
Cultures, notes:

- that the diversity 'of cultures in the world
essentially contribute to the richness of humanity';
- who already 'over 123 years Esperanto as
neutral language has helped build bridges between peoples and cultures, and
- that the World Congress of Esperanto,

A conference to celebrate one hundred years of communication between peoples

The Italian Congress of Esperanto, held in Lignano Sabbiadoro August 21 to 28, this year celebrating the anniversary of the Federation Esperanto-Italian, the body that for the past one hundred years is concerned with the dissemination of Esperanto in the national territory. The

Esperanto, international language, politically neutral, created with the aim of facilitating dialogue between peoples of different languages, thus facilitating the exchange of ideas and mutual knowledge of cultures and ensuring, at the same time, that this exchange takes place at a level fully equal.

Just the issue of protection of linguistic rights within the European Community, now increasingly broad and rich in ethnic groups, will be the focus of the seminars and conferences of this Italian Congress, which was proclaimed as the most multicultural of all time, counting about three hundred members from 36 countries, many from European countries new outbuildings and possible future candidate. The

Esperanto, as a language for international relations, is not intended to replace other languages, but rather to act as a screen behind which other languages \u200b\u200bcan be freely used and developed within individual countries, ethnic groups, etc.. Today, however, the use of a national language as a lingua franca leads to a situation of constant pressure to other countries even within some of the language of national languages \u200b\u200bto be absorbed by the lingua franca. But the cultural program of the conference is not limited to the congress theme. There are Esperanto classes for beginners and higher-level, taught by teachers of Esperanto with long experience in many countries, and Anna Lowenstein Grazina Opulskienė, and a seminar on the teaching of Esperanto with subsequent examinations in accordance with the rules of the European framework of reference for language skills.

Tatjana Aŭderskaja and Nina Danylyuk, Ukraine, will speak of topics related to Ukrainian folklore, Roman Dobrzyński Chopin, on the occasion of the International Chopin, Johan Derks and Svetlana Svetlana Milanovic speak instead of educational projects in Africa being implemented by the Esperanto. Davide Astori, a professor of general linguistics at the University of Parma, is the lion's share, with courses in Italian for foreigners, held in Esperanto, with a lecture "But Esperanto is really a language?" and another conference on the ideas of human brotherhood of Zamenhof, the initiator of the language.
