Happy Tech machines with a human face

Until March 31, 2011, the Triennale di Milano Bovisa, will host Happy Tech. Machines with a human face. The exhibition explores the positive side of the relationship between man and technology. It does so through the works of internationally renowned artists like Tony Cragg, Cao Fei, Martino Gamper, Rainer Ganahl, Candida Höfer, Alfredo Jaar, Thomas Ruff, Tom Sachs, Bill Viola, and many others. An introductory section is dedicated to the precursors / visionary Bruno Munari, Piero Fogliati, Nam June Paik and John Godfrey, artists who in past decades saw the potential of revolutionary new technologies but also to do with the need not dominate, maintaining a relationship with them playful, humanized, open to utopia. Art and science unite their language to talk about different issues, with works inspired by technology on a human scale, or extending our nature, they allow, enable, develop and enhance the features, capabilities and best human inspirations.
